New from Sōya-Vinyl: Chevron The chevron laying pattern, also known as French herringbone, is characterised by precisely cut planks whose ends are bevelled at an angle of 60° and meet at the cut edge. This creates perfectly harmonised points that form a clear, even V-shape. Compared to the classic herringbone pattern, where the head edge of one plank meets the end of the long edge of the other plank at a 45° angle, Chevron has a calmer and more structured appearance. This unconventional openness is particularly effective in modern or prestigious interiors.
