History meets modernity: Hywood in event catering

For the ‘Heinrich & Helene’ event catering venue in Vechta, a versatile venue was created that combines historic architecture with modern usage concepts. The requirements for the flooring were clearly defined: high resistance to heavy footfall, easy maintenance during ongoing operations, and a high-quality appearance befitting the listed building’s ambience. The choice fell on Hywood’s ‘Eiche Wind Cave’ plank flooring, a solution that combines authentic wooden aesthetics with long-lasting durability. For architects in particular, this project offers a compelling example of how design aspirations and functional reliability can be sustainably combined in commercial settings.
