A good floor needs a suitable underlay: high-quality underlays guarantee that you will enjoy your flooring for a long time. We generally recommend insulating underlays for all hard subfloors. They increase the elasticity of the floor and level out minor unevenness. They also dampen both impact sound and room noise - good for your ears and the ears of your neighbours! Good for your floor too, as the insulating underlay nestles between the floorboards and the hard screed.
