Gesundes Wohnen mit Ikō
In einer Welt, in der wir bis zu 90 Prozent unserer
Lebenszeit in geschlossenen Räumen verbringen, wird
die Luftqualität zu einem entscheidenden Faktor für unser
Wohlbefinden und unsere Gesundheit. Der Bodenbelag,
der einen Großteil unserer Wohnfläche ausmacht, spielt
dabei eine zentrale Rolle für das Raumklima und gewinnt
zunehmend an Bedeutung. Denn moderne Gebäudedämmungen
reduzieren den Austausch von Innen- und Außenluft:
Schadstoffe aus Tapeten, Möbeln und herkömmlichen
Böden verbleiben so deutlich länger in der Raumluft.
Nicht so bei Ikō: Der Boden besteht fast ausschließlich aus
Holz, ist frei von Plastik und schädlichen Inhaltsstoffen wie
Weichmachern und Chlor – und garantiert so, dass du dich
in deinem Zuhause rundum wohlfühlen kannst.

The healthy centrepiece of the floor is its compressed baseboard made from timber fibres. This is stabilised on the underside by a stabilising layer also made from wood fibres. The surface of the Dureco floor consists of resin, into which we mix the natural mineral corundum.
ter Hürne laminate floors make a sustainable contribution to a better carbon footprint in the same way as engineered hardwood flooring made from natural wood. One cubic metre of wood stores one tonne of CO². That helps to reduce the CO² levels in our atmosphere. Some of the wood in the baseboards comes from storm-damaged trees. These are thus put to good use and also continue to store CO².

Aus nachhaltigen Beständen
Ikō Laminatboden besticht nicht nur durch seine ästhetische Anziehungskraft, sondern auch durch sein Umweltbewusstsein. Hergestellt aus nahezu vollständig natürlichen Materialien, vermeiden wir bei Ikō konsequent schädliche Inhaltsstoffe. Unsere Herstellung basiert außerdem auf Holz aus nachhaltiger Forstwirtschaft, wobei rund 80 Prozent aus heimischen Wäldern stammen – ein klares Bekenntnis zur regionalen Verantwortung.
Langlebig und entlang der Kreislaufwirtschaft gedacht
Unsere Überzeugung von Nachhaltigkeit geht noch weiter: Im Sinne der Kreislaufwirtschaft nutzen wir vermehrt Altholz in der Plattenherstellung. Dabei verschwenden wir keine Teile des Baums, sondern verwenden sogar das, was normalerweise ungenutzt bleiben würde. Die verdichtete Trägerplatte des Ikō Laminatbodens, bestehend aus Holzfasern, wird von einem Gegenzug aus denselben Materialien stabilisiert. Selbst der Kleber, den wir verwenden, entnehmen wir zum überwiegenden Teil aus den im Holz vorhandenen Harzen. Das Ergebnis: ein Bodenbelag, der nicht nur umweltfreundlich, sondern auch extrem langlebig ist.
